SCOPE OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy covers Insight Strategy Group’s treatment of personally identifiable information that may be collected while you are using the Insight Strategy Group Mobile Moderator service. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies not owned or controlled by Insight Strategy Group or to people whom Insight Strategy Group does not employ or manage, nor does it address non-personally identifiable information.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Insight Strategy Group collects personally identifiable information from you on behalf of the company whose study you are participating in. Online account creation may require you to submit the following personal information: name, address, company information, email address, and phone number.

INSIGHT MOBILE MODERATOR

Insight Strategy Group respects your individual privacy. We also have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. In quoting any posts in the final report, identifying information, such as last name, will be eliminated or changed to ensure anonymity.

If you are using our Mobile Moderator service, only certain employees will have access to the information you provide us. They have access only for data analysis and quality control purposes. Participants will be given a screen name. To ensure anonymity, participants will be identified using the screen name.

Insight will not share your information with any third parties beyond our clients. We don’t employ tracking devices for marketing purposes (“cookies”, “web beacons,” single-pixel gifs). We won’t send you unsolicited communications for marketing purposes or share information with others who might.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AS REQUIRED BY LAW

We will disclose personal information when required by law, or if we have good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) comply with current judicial proceedings, a court order or legal process served on us, (b) protect and defend our rights, or (c) protect the rights, property, and other interests of our users or others.

SURVEY REQUEST FRAUD

We have received reports of suspicious correspondences originating from a company claiming to be Insight Strategy Group. Insight Strategy Group does not utilize direct mail, electronic mail, or any other public means to solicit survey respondents. Insight Strategy Group will never ask for your personal banking information or other sensitive information. Anytime you provide someone with your personal information, you are at risk for financial loss or identity theft.

If you are a victim of fraud via the Internet, you should file a report with your local law enforcement along with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (ICCC). The ICCC is a partnership between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. You can make a report with the ICCC by going to the following link: http://www.ic3.gov/

MYSTERY SHOPPER PROMOTION FRAUD

We have received reports of suspicious correspondences originating from a company claiming 50 Hudson St, New York, NY, 10013 as its address. Insight Strategy Group does not participate in any Mystery Shopper Promotions, and does not utilize direct mail, electronic mail, or any other public means to solicit consumers for “Customer Service Evaluations.” Insight Strategy Group recommends you never respond to unsolicited correspondence asking you to become a mystery shopper or secret shopper. Insight Strategy Group will never pay you to shop and report on the experience without first being briefed by a qualified researcher. Insight Strategy Group will never ask for your personal banking information. Anytime you provide someone with your personal information, you are at risk for financial loss or identity theft.

CORRECTING, UPDATING, DELETING AND DEACTIVATING PERSONAL INFORMATION

If your personally identifiable information changes, you may contact us to correct, update or delete and deactivate our record of your personally identifiable information. Where we have collected your personally identifiable information on behalf of a study moderator, contact the study moderator if you want to access, update, or delete that information. If the study moderator has their own privacy policy, please refer to it.
